Welcoming a new EF leadership structure

Ethereum Foundation has appointed Hsiao-Wei Wang and Tomasz Stańczak as co-Executive Directors, marking a strategic shift toward dual leadership grounded in both research and development. This move aligns with Ethereum’s evolution into a more mature, global platform reaffirming its commitment to core values like open-source collaboration, privacy and permissionless innovation.

Over the next few years, the Ethereum ecosystem needs to navigate the challenging transition from being an early-stage project serving a small number of enthusiasts to being a robust permissionless censorship-resistant base layer of the global finance and software stack. Under the leadership of Hsiao-Wei and Tomasz, EF is going to ensure that Ethereum and the ecosystem can grow in alignment to its core values.
