Introducing Arbitrum Open House: Learn. Build. Hack

Arbitrum Open House is a global builder initiative designed to attract and support new talent through a mix of online and in-person events. It offers a structured journey for developers at all experience levels—from learning foundational concepts to building and launching complete projects. The program is divided into three phases—Learn, Build, and Hack—ensuring tailored support at every stage, with mentorship, funding opportunities, and a global showcase platform.

Key Ideas

  1. Structured Path for Builders - The “Learn” phase delivers workshops on the Arbitrum tech stack and Stylus; the “Build” phase is an online buildathon with prizes; and the “Hack” phase is an in-person hacker house for direct collaboration with the Arbitrum team and ecosystem experts.

  2. Direct Support and Opportunities - Participants receive hands-on guidance, mentorship, and funding. The program concludes with an online Demo Day to present projects to a global audience. The first event is in India with cash prizes, expanding to North America later in 2025.

Why It Matters?

Developers can join the “Build” phase to rapidly prototype ideas, leverage Arbitrum team support for debugging and architecture refinement, and use Demo Day to gain visibility, attract early adopters, and connect with potential investors. Startups can sponsor prize tracks aligned with their product ecosystem to encourage targeted development, while using hackathons and workshops to identify and recruit skilled developers already proficient in the Arbitrum stack.
